Basil Demeroutis - Advisor
Basil is Advisor to Somerset Capital. He is also Partner at Capricorn Investment Group and oversees the firm's European business as well as the Real Assets, Energy & Commodities and Renewable Resources strategies globally. Basil was previously a Managing Partner at Jargonnant Partners, a European real estate PE firm and had spent 13 years in investment banking working for ING Barings, Bear Stearns and Bankers Trust (Deutsche Bank) in a variety of corporate finance roles in both New York and London, covering a diverse range of industries. Basil received a BSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
